The aim of this exercise was to get you thinking about all of the different areas where you can demonstrate your leadership skills to assist your club and make it a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone. Your club consists of players, volunteers, parents and supporters all of whom give their time to be involved in sport at the community level. Therefore everyone has a role to play in making the experience of all of these people an enjoyable one.
It is important for you to remember that you can make a difference simply through the way that you behave and the leadership traits that you demonstrate. This can be anything from helping a parent helper carry some equipment to the club rooms all the way through to being on the club committee or coaching a junior team.
