Roles and Responsibilities
You can’t do it all. That’s a great lesson to learn early!
Taking on too many responsibilities is a sure fire way for a leaders candle to burn out very quickly. The other trap leaders fall into is taking on others roles because they think they can do it better.
You must be able to trust that each other will deliver on what you have promised. You must be able to put planning into action and support each other when a teammate is struggling.
Just like in the image, any team works like a series of cogs. When all the cogs work together we have success. If one cog breaks down, it will have a dramatic effect on the team and the community.
